Hey, can you give me a little tutorial on how to replace the text on the Shield Tag logo? I just downloaded Gimp and I am lost. Haha

Ok, but just a really quick one. Paint over the text you don't want to have there. Then use the text tool (The one with A as a symbol) choose a suitable color and write what you want then export image.

As to the shield tag I just opened "Shield Tag Orange.png" in Gimp and added my name and a nice picture.

Reread my first reply, it's all in there. Open the picture of the shield tag in what ever program you like to use for editing images for example Gimp or photoshop. Now you can change it in whatever way you would like. Save your changes and reload rainmeter skin.
